Homeopathically, Hypericum, is wonderful for nerve pain! It has an affinity for the nervous system. You may be more familiar with its herbal use. St. John’s Wort. Used and helpful for some forms of depression and can act as a blood thinner. If you’re ever having surgery, it’s important to inform your doctor well before the surgery, that you are taking it. They will ask you to go off of it for a time. Used in homeopathy, however, it’s action in the body is different and is helpful often after surgery. Especially after dental surgeries; the mouth is rich in nerves, as those who have dental procedures well know.
Homeopathy worked for me, says Sara K: “I sliced 1cm off the top of my little finger in a fire door hinge. Having used homeopathy for over 20 years by this time I instantly reached for hypericum, aconite and arnica while my husband drove me to hospital. They worked instantly in handling the pain and shock. Once at the hospital I was prescribed pain killers and antibiotics but I reacted badly to these within the first 12 hours, so I stuck with homeopathy throughout. My homeopath treated me throughout the healing process and the plastic surgery nurse was astonished at the rate in which my finger healed.
